It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Hermena "Suzie" Speer, co-founder of Speer Cushion Company.  Suzie passed away on Saturday July 19th, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her family at her side.  She will be laid to rest in the Holyoke Cemetary on Friday August 8th 2008.

Suzie was born August 6, 1911.  She and husband Irvin Speer founded Speer Cushion in 1958 and she was actively involved in the company until their retirement in 1974.  Suzie was an active member of the community and enjoyed dancing and playing cards with her friends.
